What's in the box?

What is Ace LTE’s battery life?
Fitbit Ace LTE has been tested with hundreds of families and is designed to get 16+ hours of use from a full battery.8 Fitbit Ace LTE should be recharged overnight – just like them!
Is Ace LTE durable?
The Fitbit Ace LTE is water resistant to 50 m3 and the screen is made from durable Gorilla® Glass. For added peace of mind, the Fitbit Ace LTE comes with a protective bumper to let kids be kids.
Does the Fitbit Ace app work on both Android and iPhone?
Yes. The Fitbit Ace app is available on Play Store and App Store.15
Why can’t my child message friends on Ace LTE?
Fitbit Ace LTE is designed to give families peace of mind with calling and messaging available to parents and trusted adults.
Kids can add each other as friends in Bit Valley to see each other’s eejies, but they cannot call or message each other.
We’re working to also allow kids to call and message their siblings (in the same Google Family). This feature is not yet available, but coming soon!
Why doesn’t Fitbit Ace LTE have a phone number?
Ace LTE uses cellular data but does not have a phone number. Communication with your child is kept secure with in-app calling and messaging via the Fitbit Ace app.
Will Ace LTE work without the Ace Pass data plan?
The Ace Pass enables an LTE connection that powers calling, messaging and location sharing, without needing your child to have their own phone or additional data plan.7 Plus, it also gives your child access to all the games in the Fitbit Arcade to get them moving. An Ace Pass is required – you will need to purchase an Ace Pass data plan in order to activate the device and access these features.
I have a Fitbit Premium subscription, is this the same as the Ace Pass?
No. Fitbit Premium is not compatible with Fitbit Ace LTE.
Who can call or message my child?
As a parent, you control who can securely call or message your child. Adults and caregivers over the age of 13 can be invited as contacts. They need to download the Fitbit Ace app. Kids cannot communicate with each other using Fitbit Ace LTE.6,9,15,
What parental controls does Ace LTE have?
As a parent you can manage your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE from the Fitbit Ace app.17 You can manage who they contact, change their settings, reset their PIN, and more. You can also schedule “School time” to turn on automatically during school hours to minimize distractions by muting notifications and restricting access to games.
What is the Fitbit Arcade?
It’s a catalog of games on the Fitbit Ace LTE that encourage physical activity and keep kids motivated using fun narratives and game mechanics. Your child can access all game titles as part of the Ace Pass data plan. Games are suitable for any age to play, and new games are added regularly.
How do Fitbit's games motivate kids to move?
Ace LTE’s games are designed to get your child moving by rewarding them with Move goal points and collectible virtual items for their ‘eejie’. If they don’t get moving they don’t get to play - there are no shortcuts or in-app transactions. All games are rated E for everyone.
Do I have to pay extra for the Fitbit Arcade games?
No. All games are included as part of the Ace Pass data plan.^ Once your Ace Pass is active, physical activity is the only currency required to progress every game.
What data is being handled about my child?
Fitbit Ace LTE is designed to protect your child’s privacy and wellbeing. Parents can see their child’s recent activity and goal progress, but older data will be automatically deleted from our systems. Location data is only shown to parents and is automatically deleted after a short time.13
There are no third-party apps or ads shown to kids, and health and wellness data will not be used for Google ads.

Does Ace LTE work with the Fitbit app?
No. You can only see your child’s activity data within the Fitbit Ace app.
What is an 'Ace Band'?
Ace Bands allow your child to customize their Fitbit Ace LTE.14 Bands come in different styles and materials. And when a band is attached, it unlocks new experiences for your child, like new activity challenges, collectible items for their eejie, and a new Noodle.
How can I redeem my bonus Ace Band?
Annual Ace Pass data plan holders are eligible for an Ace Band on us. Once you have purchased an annual plan, and each year that you renew it, you’ll receive an email with a code to redeem a complementary Ace Band online at our Google Store. Offer available in US only. The watch is designed to comply with a water protection rating of 5 ATM under ISO standard 22810:2010 when each device leaves the factory, but it is not water or dust proof. Water resistance and dust resistance are not permanent conditions, and will diminish or be lost over time due to normal wear and tear, device repair, disassembly or damage. Device is not drop/tumble proof and dropping your device may result in loss of water/dust resistance. Damage from drops, tumbles, and other external forces are not covered under warranty. Ace bands are designed to be used in shallow water and should not be used for activities involving water at high velocity or high temperature. Liquid damage voids the warranty. After any exposure to liquid, we recommend drying the watch and band because, as with any wearable device, it’s best for your skin if the band is clean and dry.
