What is the coverage and benefit of the program?
Pixel Care+ offers protection for accidental damage from handling (like drops, liquid spills, and cracks) for as long as your device is enrolled, and for mechanical or electrical failures while enrolled after your Google manufacturer's warranty expires. With Pixel Care+, there are no limits on claims for accidental damage or mechanical/electrical failures that occur. For even greater peace of mind, Pixel Care+ with Loss and Theft includes all the benefits of Pixel Care+, plus coverage for loss and theft. Coverage for loss and theft is limited to two claims per rolling 12-month period. For full details on coverage, limitations, and terms, please refer to the Pixel Care+ Terms & Conditions.
What are the differences between paying up front and paying monthly?
Pixel Care+ and Pixel Care+ with Loss and Theft can be purchased with 2-year coverage term or monthly plan. For both 2-Year and Monthly plans, during their coverage terms, there is no limit for mechanical/electrical breakdown claims after Google’s warranty expires or for accidental damage from handling. The Pixel Care+ Monthly Coverage plans renews automatically every month up to 60 months. With the Pixel Care+ 2-year plans, you pay once up front for 24 months of coverage. Both plans can be canceled anytime, see detailed in the cancellation policy.
Which devices are eligible for Pixel Care+ and what does it cost?
Eligibility and plan pricing vary by device. You can view the complete list of eligible devices and their costs here. Service fees and deductibles are applied per claim. Can I add Pixel Care+ if I didn't buy my device from Google Store?
Yes, you can still add Pixel Care+ to eligible devices but only within 60 days of device purchase. Check eligibility.
How do I manage my Pixel Care+ plan or file a claim?
If you are already a a Pixel Care+ member, please visit the membership portal to file a claim for a repair or replacement, manage your plan, and more. If your device is still within the manufacturer warranty period, for mechanical or electrical repairs, please visit our Repair Center where you will be directed to the in warranty repair options.
How can I get repairs done in person?
You must file a repair claim in the event of screen-only damage. Once your claim is approved, visit a Repair Center (or a Google Store). For a uBreakiFix(r) by Asurion visit, please have your device’s IMEI number (for phones) or serial number (for all other devices) ready. You can find your device’s serial number here. For a Google Store visit (phone repairs only), please have your device’s IMEI number and approved claim ID ready.
Who is the provider of Pixel Care+?
PixelCare+ with Loss and Theft is a combination of insurance and service contract. The insurance coverage is underwritten by Continental Casualty Company, a CNA Company (CNA), Chicago, IL, and administered by Asurion Protection Services, LLC, (In Iowa, Lic. #1001002300; in California, Asurion Protection Services Insurance Agency, LLC, CA Lic. #OD63161), a licensed agent of CNA. Pixel Care+ Service Contract is provided by Asurion Warranty Protection Services, LLC, or one of its affiliates.
