Must be connected to a 16–24VAC, 10–40VA, 50/60Hz doorbell transformer.
For houses that don’t have existing doorbell wires or the right transformer, install the Indoor Power Adapter or purchase the Nest Doorbell (battery).
.Chime and compatibility
Compatible with chimes rated to work with a 16–24VAC, 10–40VA, 50/60 Hz doorbell transformer. When connected to a wired doorbell chime, the Nest Doorbell (wired) must be used with the chime connector included in the box.
Wired doorbell chimes are not supported when the Nest Doorbell (wired) is powered by the optional Indoor Power Adapter.
You can also get a notification on your phone, on your “Hey Google” enabled speakers and displays, and on speakers and displays compatible with Alexa.
The Nest Doorbell (wired) is not compatible with battery-powered wireless doorbell chimes.
