What are the differences between paying up front and paying monthly?
The Preferred Care plans provide out-of-warranty mechanical breakdown coverage and accidental damage. For both plans, during their coverage terms, there is no limit for mechanical/electrical breakdown claims after Google’s warranty expires. The Preferred Care Monthly Coverage plan renews automatically every month up to 60 months. With the Preferred Care 2-year plan, you pay once up front for 24 months of coverage. For both plans, there is a claim limit of 2 accidental damage claims per rolling 12-month period, beginning with the date of first repair or replacement. Both plans can be canceled anytime. If you purchased the Preferred Care 2-year coverage plan there is a claim limit of up to 2 accidental damage claims or 2 accidental damage claims in a rolling 12-month period based on the date of first repair or replacement based on device.
