 Stay safe and get help in an emergency

Whether you’re working out or walking home at night, sometimes you need some extra peace of mind. Check in with loved ones through the Pixel Watch’s safety features. With Safety Check, your Pixel Watch will check in with you after a certain amount of time. If there’s no response, the watch will share location information with your emergency contacts.14,15

The Pixel Watch can also send for help if it detects a hard fall, car accident, or sudden loss of pulse.16,17,18 When it identifies an emergency, the Pixel Watch will check in with you. If you’re unable to respond, the watch can contact first responders for you. Opt to share medical information – like your blood type and allergies – with responders, even if you’re unconscious, so you can receive life-saving assistance. 

Go shopping or ride the bus hands-free

When you’re at the front of the checkout line or boarding public transit, it can be stressful to have to dig through your wallet looking for your payment card. Or maybe you don’t want to travel with a wallet at all. You can pay with a quick tap of your wrist using the Pixel Watch – just open Google Wallet and hold your watch over the contactless payment reader until you hear a sound or feel a vibration.10

With the Pixel Watch, your cards are safe, even if your watch is lost or stolen. If you set a PIN or lock pattern, your watch will lock automatically when you take it off.
