Google created the Pixel Watch 4 in two different sizes – 41mm and 45mm – with everyone in mind. Because everyone has different likes, preferences, and tastes.

Choosing the Pixel Watch 4 size that’s right for you is a matter of preference and fit. Both sizes feature the all-new Actua 360 domed display, which has a 10% larger active area than the Pixel Watch 3. The Actua 360 display is also 50% brighter (3,000 nits vs. 2,000 nits on the third-gen watch), making it easy to glance at your stats and info, even when you’re out in bright daylight.

If you like a larger display and case size, the 45mm Pixel Watch 4 is a great choice. It comes in 3 colors: Moonstone, Porcelain, and Obsidian with an aerospace-grade aluminum case.

If you prefer a smaller and slightly lighter case size, then the 41mm Pixel Watch 4 is for you. It comes in Iris, Lemongrass, Porcelain, and Obsidian.

The battery is also longer lasting, with up to 30 hours on 41mm and up to 40 hours on 45mm – plus, you get 15 hours of charge in just 15 minutes.2

There’s plenty of room for customization, too. The Pixel Watch 4 has a wide assortment of bands that are comfortable, durable, and stylish, including waterproof options.3 The bands are easy to swap out, so you don’t have to pick just one. Move from working out to going out with versatile band types like Performance Loop, Active Sport, Woven, leathers, and metals.

How to measure your wrist for the Pixel Watch 4

Both Google Pixel Watch sizes were designed with everyone in mind. Knowing the circumference of your wrist can help you decide which size is right for you. Here’s a simple way to measure.

  1. Wrap a tape measure around your wrist just above the bone.

    • Don’t have a tape measure? Take a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist.

  2. Make sure that the fit is snug, but still comfortable.

  3. Mark where the tape measure or string lands.

    • If you’re using a string, place it flat on a surface and measure the distance from the end of the string to the marking using a ruler.

  4. See how your wrist size matches up with both Pixel watch sizes.

    • The 45mm fits wrists 150–215 mm around. The 41mm fits wrists 130–210 mm around.

Tips for wearing your Pixel Watch 4

Having the right fit isn’t just a matter of comfort – it’s key to making sure the device’s sensors can properly collect data.

  • When wearing your Pixel Watch, make sure your band isn’t too tight.

  • Wear the band loose enough that it can move back and forth on your wrist.

  • To get a more secure fit when you exercise and ensure optimal data collection, try moving the band two to three finger widths above your wrist bone. You can lower and loosen the band after your workout is over.
