To pass your music cleanly from the source to your ears, multi-path processing on Tensor A1 opens a dedicated high-bandwidth lane for your music, one it doesn’t have to share with the processing for Active Noise Cancellation.
Starting in September 2025, Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be able to automatically adjust based on your environment to deliver a more comfortable listening experience., And that September update will include Loud Noise Protection. Loud Noise Protection will help dampen sounds like the blaring siren of a passing fire truck, so they won’t be passed through to your ears at full volume.
And Adaptive Audio (coming September 2025) will automatically decrease the level of noise and drown out distractions for comfortable listening, while still keeping you aware of your surroundings.
