What is an unlocked Pixel 9?
An unlocked Pixel 9 is a phone that isn't tied to a specific operator. When you purchase an unlocked Pixel 9, you get to choose which operator or plan works best for you. Most phones in the Google Store come unlocked.

1. Buy an unlocked Pixel phone from the Google Store.

Is Pixel 9 dual SIM?
Pixel 9 has dual SIM functionality. You can use two SIMs: one physical SIM card and one eSIM. You can choose which SIM to use for which action, like messaging or calling. This option is called Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS). On Pixel 9, if your operator allows it, you can use two eSIM profiles simultaneously and connect to two 5G networks in dual SIM mode at the same time.
What is the difference between connecting my Pixel 9 with an operator now and connecting it later?
The Google Store offers operator activation with AT&T and Verizon. If you activate with an operator now, we'll connect your Pixel 9 to your account.
AT&T customers: Once you receive your new Pixel 9, call AT&T to complete your activation. Your Pixel 9 will arrive ready to go with your number and plan information. If you connect with an operator later, once your new Pixel 9 arrives, you can insert a physical SIM card or use eSIM from any operator that provides service for Pixel.
Does Pixel 9 have 5G network compatibility?
Yes, Pixel 9 works with 5G networks. The type of 5G service depends on both the phone model and the operator network. Learn more about 5G.
What is included in the Pixel 9 box?
Your Pixel 9 purchase comes with with a 1 m USB-C® to USB-C® cable (USB® 2.0) and SIM tool. Pixel 9 does not come with a 45W USB-C Power Charger, but that can be purchased separately.

You can trade in Google Pixel phones and phones from most other manufacturers. How much you will get for your trade-in depends on the phone, model, manufacturer and condition.
