Safety alerts on your phone look out for you in any situation.
Whether you’re exploring a new place, a natural disaster occurs nearby, or you have an accident and need help, Pixel will help keep you safe.

Your Pixel is watching out for you as you go about your day.

With safety alerts on your phone, Google Pixel can help you out of a serious situation. If you’re in a car accident, your Pixel can quickly call emergency services and share accurate location info so they know where to send help. It can check in with you when you’re going on a run at night. And features like these and more get better over time, thanks to Pixel’s built-in AI smarts and regular Feature Drops, like one that focused on even better safety features.

Here are a few situations that hopefully won’t arise – but if they do, count on your Pixel phone and Pixel Watch 2 to come to your aid.

Explore with confidence

Going somewhere new? Whether you’re checking out a restaurant in an unfamiliar city, going on a first date, or embarking on a solo trip, safety is likely top of mind.

Carry on with confidence, knowing you can easily use Emergency SOS in your phone’s Personal Safety app to call for help – by quickly pressing the power button on your phone five times or more, or the same number of times on the watch crown.3 You’ll then be able to share your location and important information with your emergency contacts, or record a video message to send to them.

Get a heads-up about emergencies

If natural disasters are imminent and nearby, safety alerts on your phone will let you know. Crisis Alerts will notify you of floods, fires, tornadoes, and more, with information from local governments to get you critical information faster.3

When the ground shakes, the Android Earthquake Alert System can send an early warning to your phone – and help you take expedient steps to safety.

Go about your day with peace of mind

Picture this: You take a tumble and can’t move for a minute. Your Pixel Watch is always looking out for you and can detect if you’ve had a hard fall, then check to see if you’re okay.4 If you don’t respond, it will call emergency services on your behalf to get you help quickly. And because Fall Detection only reacts to hard falls, you don’t have to worry about triggering false alarms when you simply trip over that doorstep.4

Your Pixel phone can also detect if you’ve had an accident and call emergency services with car crash detection.2 It will notify emergency contacts to let them know what’s happened and share your real-time location using Google’s Emergency Location Service.

No matter where or when, help is never far away, thanks to your Pixel phone.
