They can check in with you when you’re going on a run at night. Picture this: You take a tumble and can’t move for a minute. Your Pixel Watch is always looking out for you and can detect if you’ve had a hard fall, then check to see if you’re okay.⁴ If you don’t respond, it will call emergency services on your behalf to get you help quickly. And because Fall Detection only reacts to hard falls, you don’t have to worry about triggering false alarms when you simply trip over that doorstep.⁴

Your Pixel phone and watch can also detect if you’ve had an accident and call emergency services with Car Crash Detection.² It will notify emergency contacts to let them know what’s happened and share your real-time location using Google’s Emergency Location Service.
