Cross the finish line with help from the new running watch: Pixel Watch 3.
Stay motivated, maximise performance, create the perfect run routine, and more with this new advanced fitness smartwatch.

Sometimes, even the most disciplined runners need a little help with their training.

That’s one reason why Google created the new Pixel Watch 3. This running watch has your back before, during, and after your workout. Its advanced running features let you create the perfect routine, stay motivated in real time, perfect your form, and maximise your performance.

If you’re not a runner but still want to stay fit, Pixel Watch 3 can give your cardio and strength training a boost by analysing your statistics and giving you insights. Whether you’re pounding the pavement in the lead-up to a big race, hitting the trails to mix up your routine, or starting a new high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout to burn calories, Pixel Watch 3 can help you track your progress and reach your goals in 40+ exercises.

Prepare for your run before you lace up your trainers

To get the most out of your training, you need to run smarter, not just harder. Doing so begins before you even slip on your shoes. With its advanced running features, Pixel Watch 3 can help you track metrics like readiness and cardio load before you even set foot outside.

Plan the best routine for you with Workout Builder. Add timed warm-ups and cool-downs, pace and heart rate targets, and intervals. And then track your progress in real time.

Want to run the same 5-mile route you run every Monday and see how you progress? You can easily access your routine from your saved workouts on your Pixel Watch 3. Then, feel free to leave everything else behind, including your Pixel phone – and your old personal best.

If you’re keen on exploring new running routes, but aren’t sure if there is Wi-Fi coverage, there’s an easy solution. You can download a Google Map of the area – whether it’s a park, a neighbourhood, or a trail – and access it from your wrist. That way you can get lost in the moment during your run, not in the woods.

If you want extra help setting up the right routine, Fitbit Premium uses Google AI to recommend daily running routines. They’re tailored to you, based on your goals, training history, target cardio load, and readiness. When you buy Pixel Watch 3, you get six months of Fitbit Premium free, so you can give this feature a dry run.

Ready to lace up and get started?

Whether you’re pounding the pavement for a big race, hitting the trails to boost your heart rate, or starting a new HIIT routine, the Pixel Watch 3 can help track your progress and reach your goals. A running watch with next-level features for next-level performance

The Pixel Watch 3 even gives you an extra boost with real-time guidance. Whether you’re on one of your custom runs, or a run routine recommended by Google AI (only available with Fitbit Premium), it offers audio and haptic clues for when your next sprint is coming up, to maintain your pace, or when it’s time to cool down. You can finish your run knowing you pushed yourself to the limit, without overdoing it.

For those who prefer running outside, Pixel Watch 3 was designed for easy glanceability. Whether you opt for the 45mm or 41mm case size, the new device has a larger display than the Pixel Watch 2, double peak brightness (2000 nits vs 1000 nits), and a more responsive screen.

A big part of running is getting into a rhythm and avoiding distractions. That’s why Google designed Pixel Watch 3 to help you lose yourself in your music. Now, you can control your playlist directly with media controls.

And if you want an even more seamless experience between your run and your music, pair your Pixel Watch 3 with the new Pixel Buds Pro 2. They’re lighter, have an adjustable fit for premium comfort, and feature a powerful new AI chip that delivers twice the active noise cancellation.

Pixel Watch 3 also includes important features that keep you safe. Fall Detection calls emergency services if you fall hard.2 Safety Check sets a timer on your watch that will share your location with your emergency contacts, in case you’re unresponsive after a certain time period.3 And Safety Signal gives you access to these features and more, even if you don’t have your Pixel phone nearby and haven’t activated LTE with your mobile phone provider.4,5 With Pixel Watch 3, you can have peace of mind knowing that you’re safe and focus on the finish line.

Hit your stride in the long run

A big part of running involves how you feel: your feet pounding the pavement, your breath burning in your lungs, your legs straining with each stride, and of course, that pulse of euphoria when you’re finally done.

But when it comes to performance, feeling only gets you so far. What may feel like a great run may actually involve an inefficient gait, a slower time, or a pace that’s not recommended for your goals and training. That’s why Pixel Watch 3 includes advanced running form analysis that gives insights into your run after it’s over.

Here’s how it works: the device uses motion sensors and machine learning to delve into how you run and turn the data into insights to help you improve your gait and avoid injuries. The metrics it uses include cadence, ground contact time, ground contact balance, vertical oscillation, stride length, and vertical ration. To see how you can improve, check out a detailed breakdown in your Fitbit app after your run.

All of the sensors on your Pixel Watch 3 come in handy when you’re looking to track your overall performance, too. Keep track of your weekly mileage, personal records, average heart rate, and more in your run performance dashboard in the Fitbit app. Because peak performance is more than a feeling – it’s science.

Optimise your workout, even if there is no finish line

Pixel Watch 3 is not just a running watch. It was designed as a watch for workouts in general. So if you’re more into biking or HIIT workouts, it works with the Fitbit app to give your workouts a boost. Together, they can monitor your heart rate, track your activity zones, and help you with fitness routines.

Your Pixel Watch 3’s sensors also work with machine learning to analyse your goals, training history, readiness, and target load for each day. These statistics will help your watch figure out what kind of workout your body can handle. That way you can optimise your training, avoid overdoing it, and stay active for years to come.
