An unlocked Pixel 9 Pro is a phone that isn't tied to a specific operator. When you purchase an unlocked Pixel 9 Pro, you get to choose which operator or plan works best for you. Most phones from the Google Store come unlocked.

To use a SIM-unlocked phone:

  1. Buy an unlocked Pixel phone from the Google Store.
  2. Contact a mobile operator.
  3. Follow their instructions to set up your phone with their service plan.
Pixel 9 Pro has dual SIM functionality. You can use two SIMs: one physical SIM card and one eSIM. You can choose which SIM to use for which action, like messaging or calling. This option is called Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS). On the Pixel 9 Pro, if your operator allows, you can use two eSIM profiles simultaneously and connect to two 5G networks in dual SIM mode at the same time.
Yes, the Pixel 9 Pro works with 5G networks. The type of 5G service depends on both the phone model and the operator network. Learn more about 5G.
Your Pixel 9 Pro purchase comes with a one-metre USB-C® to USB-C® cable (USB® 2.0) and SIM tool. The Pixel 9 Pro does not come with a 45W USB-C Power Charger, but that can be purchased separately.
