Google TV Streamer (4K) has a home panel where you can control all your favourite smart home devices. It can be accessed by long-pressing the home button on the Voice Remote, or via the Customisable button. Learn more about the home panel on this Help Centre page.
Google TV Streamer (4K) supports up to 4K HDR with Dolby Vision.
Google TV supports kids' profiles, where parents can set controls to filter age-appropriate entertainment, limit watch time and set a bedtime. Learn more on how to set up the controls on thisHelp Centre page.
You can locate your remote by pressing the button on the back of your Google TV Streamer (4K), or using your voice by saying 'Hey Google, find my remote'.

You can cast content on your phone to Google TV Streamer (4K) by following these steps:

  1. Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Google TV.
  2. Open the app that has the content you want to cast.
  3. In the app, find and select Cast.
  4. On your device, select the name of your TV.
  5. When Cast changes colour, you're successfully connected.

To stop casting, on your device, select Cast and then Disconnect.

You can set up multiple accounts so that each member of the household has their own Google TV profile. Downloaded apps and app login details can be used across profiles, so there is no need to start from scratch each time you set up a new profile. Dolby Atmos on Google TV Streamer delivers immersive, three-dimensional sound without the need for a sound decoding system such as an AV receiver. For devices that don't support true Dolby Atmos (like Chromecast with Google TV) but offer passthrough capability, another Dolby Atmos-capable sound system would be required to deliver the same effect.
