What is the exchange process?

Exchanging your old device is as easy as these simple steps.

Step 1

Pick the Pixel device you want and opt for exchange.

Choose your new Pixel device, select "Exchange" at checkout, and enter your old device details to get an estimated value.

Step 2

Receive and activate your new Pixel device.

When your new Pixel device arrives, follow the set up instructions to activate it.

Step 3

Transfer your data to your new Pixel device.

Transfer your data from your old device to your new Pixel device. Be sure to factory reset your old device prior to your exchange appointment.

Step 4

Schedule for an exchange appointment.

Once your new Pixel arrives, Cashify will SMS you to schedule your old device pickup and confirm payment method. You’ll receive your exchange credit on pickup day.

FAQ

Our exchange programme with Cashify makes it easy to get the latest Pixel device. If your old device is eligible, you’ll receive a refund via Netbanking or UPI once Cashify inspects your old device.

When you order a new Pixel, you’ll get an estimate for your old device. After your new Pixel device arrives, Cashify will collect your old device and send payment after inspection (the amount may be adjusted). For more details, please refer to the exchange programme Terms and Conditions.

Once your new device arrives, Cashify will kick off the exchange process and let you know via SMS or WhatsApp to arrange a pickup as well as choose a preferred payment method (Netbanking or UPI) to receive your exchange value. During your exchange appointment, you'll get your exchange refund through Netbanking or UPI after Cashify inspects and confirms your old device condition.

The exchange value depends on your device, model, manufacturer, and condition. When you purchase a new Pixel device and choose to exchange an eligible device, you will need to answer questions related to the eligible device. Cashify will also assess your device during your exchange appointment and give you the actual value to accept or reject. If you’re not happy, you can keep your old phone.

Your device must be in good working condition, power on, and have no major screen damage, screen bruising, battery swelling / damage, cracks, backlight damage, or an activation lock in place. Get an estimate for exchange.

You can exchange selected Google Pixel phones, as well as phones from third-party brands like Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, and more.

Within 48 hours of your new Pixel being delivered, Cashify will get in touch via SMS or WhatsApp to help you schedule an appointment and choose your preferred payment method to receive your exchange value.

On the day of your appointment, a Cashify representative will visit to inspect your device. After the inspection, you’ll receive a final quote. If you accept, they’ll collect the device, and the payment will be transferred to your chosen payment method right away.

You can exchange one device per Google Pixel purchase. If you'd like to exchange more than 1, simply place separate orders for each Pixel device.

You can check the status of your exchange by selecting "Exchange details" in your order history:

- Confirmed: You’ve started the exchange and received an email confirmation.

- Schedule appointment: You’ve booked your appointment with Cashify using the link in the SMS they sent you.

- Completed: Cashify has assessed your device and credited the exchange value to you.

- Cancelled: Either you've decided to cancel your exchange request or Cashify decided to cancel your exchange request because you provided incorrect details, or any other reasons.

To cancel your exchange, go to your order history page, select "Exchange details", and click the link to the Cashify exchange status page to cancel your scheduled appointment.
Our exchange programme is powered by Cashify and subjected to their exchange programme Terms and Conditions. Please take note that this programme is only available to Indian residents who are at least 18 years old and own the device they're exchanging.
