What is an unlocked Pixel 9?
An unlocked Pixel 9 is a phone that isn't tied to a specific operator. When you purchase an unlocked Pixel 9, you get to choose which operator or plan works best for you. Most phones in the Google Store come unlocked.
To use a SIM-unlocked phone:
1. Buy an unlocked Pixel phone from the Google Store.
2. Contact a mobile operator.
3. Follow their instructions to set up your phone with their service plan.
Is Pixel 9 dual SIM?
Pixel 9 has dual SIM functionality. You can use two SIMs: one physical SIM card and one eSIM. You can choose which SIM to use for which action, like messaging or calling. This option is called Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS). On Pixel 9 if your carrier allows, you can use two eSim profiles simultaneously and connect to two 5G networks in dual SIM mode at the same time.22
Does Pixel 9 have 5G network compatibility?
Yes, Pixel 9 works with 5G networks. The type of 5G service depends on both the phone model and the operator network. Learn more about 5G.
What is included in the Pixel 9 box?
Your Pixel 9 purchase comes with with a 1 m USB-C® to USB-C® cable (USB® 2.0) and SIM tool. Pixel 9 does not come with a 45W USB-C Power Charger, but that can be purchased separately.
How does the Google Store trade-in programme work?
You can trade-in Google Pixel phones and phones from most other manufacturers. How much you will get for your trade-in depends on the phone, model, manufacturer and condition. During your purchase of a new Pixel phone, answer a few questions accurately and once we receive the phone within the specified time frame and verify its condition, you'll most likely receive the full amount of the estimated refund.
