Just your old phone with a charger on hand and your new Google Pixel. You can use the included cable to connect them, or transfer your data wirelessly. If you’ve got an older iPhone that uses a lightning cable, make sure you have a cable that connects it to your new Pixel.
What data can I bring to my new Google Pixel?
You can copy over your photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, message history, and apps. If you are coming from an iPhone, you can easily move your iCloud photos directly to Google Photos during setup. You can even securely transfer your saved passwords so you can pick up right where you left off.1
Will my favourite apps work on Google Pixel?
You can find millions of the apps you know and love, like Spotify, Instagram, and TikTok, ready to download right from Google Play. Most of the apps you use daily run seamlessly on Pixel.
What will messaging people on Google Pixel be like?
Pixel supports RCS, which means you can send high-quality photos and videos, see typing indicators, and participate in group chats the same as you always have with friends, regardless of their phone, without “breaking” the chat.
