The latest Pixel Drop makes sharing with iPhones® simple.
Sharing photos and videos with others brings us closer.
Now an update to Quick Share, starting with the Pixel 10 family, brings your Pixel closer to your friends’ Apple devices.
We’ve all been there: You capture the perfect group photo on your Pixel, and your friend with an iPhone asks for it. When it comes to sharing moments, what kind of device you have shouldn’t matter – sharing should just work. And now that Quick Share works with AirDrop, it does.
Starting with Pixel 10 series phones, sharing is open to everyone. Quick Share now makes it possible to quickly share your photos, videos, and files with people without worrying about the kind of phone they use.
First, make sure your Pixel 10 is up to date. Then open the Settings app and search for Quick Share. Under Who can share with you, choose Contacts to share with people listed in your Contacts app, or Everyone for 10 minutes, which automatically reverts to your previous selection to protect your privacy.
When you’re ready to send a file to a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac, ask the recipient to set their AirDrop visibility to Everyone for 10 minutes. Then open the content on your Pixel, tap Quick Share, and select their device from the list. To receive a file, make sure your Pixel is set to Everyone for 10 minutes so the sender can find you.
You can share across devices with confidence knowing we built this feature with security at its core.
Great content shouldn’t be trapped by an operating system. With Quick Share in the new Pixel Drop, moving data between Android and iOS is simple.
