What is eSIM?

eSIM technology allows you to add a cellular plan to your Pixel 8a, without using a physical SIM card. Pixel 8a will arrive ready to activate with eSIM. You will need a Wi-Fi connection for setup.

If you choose to connect to an operator after you buy your Pixel 8a, you will need to contact your operator to activate with an eSIM.

Does Pixel 8a have 5G network compatibility?
Yes, Pixel 8a works with 5G networks. The type of 5G service depends on both the phone model and the operator network. Learn more about 5G.
What is included in the Pixel 8a box?
Your Pixel 8a purchase comes with a 1 m USB-C® to USB-C® cable (USB® 2.0), quick start guide, Quick Switch adaptor (for data transfer) and SIM tool. Pixel 8a does not come with a 30W USB-C power charger, but that can be purchased separately.
How does the Google Store trade-in programme work?
You can trade in Google Pixel phones and phones from most other manufacturers. How much you will get for your trade-in depends on the phone, model, manufacturer, and condition. During your purchase of a new Pixel phone, answer a few questions accurately, and once we receive the phone within the specified time frame and verify its condition, you’ll most likely receive the full amount of the estimated refund.
