A great day starts with a great night’s sleep.
An effortless way to understand your sleep
Sleep Sensing uses motion and sound to analyse your sleep – so there’s nothing to wear or remember to charge. It tracks when you go to bed, when you wake up and how long you’ve slept.
Every morning, you can see your sleep summary on Nest Hub. Or just ask, 'Hey Google, how did I sleep last night?'

Sleep Sensing can also help you make your bedroom better for sleep. It notices light and temperature changes in the room, so you’ll know if your environment could be affecting your sleep.

Frequently asked questions
How does Sleep Sensing work?
With Sleep Sensing, you can analyse the rest of the person closest to the display. Sleep Sensing uses a low-energy motion sensor that detects movement and breathing. Other sensors in Nest Hub detect sounds like snoring and coughing, and environmental factors like light and temperature in the room. That is how you know when you went to bed and how long you slept but also the quality of your sleep.
