Is it easy to switch from Apple to Pixel?

Switching to Pixel is easier than ever. All you have to do is connect your old iPhone with your new Pixel, and follow the prompts on the screen. In about 30 minutes, your selected data – like contacts, photos, and messages – will copy to your new Pixel. 

What data can be copied from my iPhone to Pixel?

When you set up your Pixel, you can safely transfer over all your important data, including photos, videos, contacts, iMessages, texts, WhatsApp messages, apps, notes, call history, and more. After initial setup, you can copy other photos and videos you have stored in iCloud to Google Photos.

Will I have to repurchase my apps or subscriptions?

Most apps automatically copy over when you switch to Pixel. If you have subscription services (like Spotify or Apple Music), just sign in to your account on your Pixel and you’ll see all your data in that app. And if you paid for apps or games, app developers can help you transfer them to your new phone.

What will I do without my favorite iOS apps?

Pixel has comparable equivalents to your favourite iOS apps. Instead of iMessage, Pixel has Messages – an AI-powered messaging app that learns how you communicate and offers helpful suggestions. Pixel also has an alternative to AirDrop® called Quick Share (formally known as Nearby Share), so you can keep sharing files with friends near you. 

Will it be harder to communicate with people who still use iPhone?

Pixel helps you keep in touch with anyone, regardless of the phone they use. With the Messages app, you can send and see reactions and emojis from friends who use iMessages, and you can start or be part of any group text. You can also enjoy common group messaging apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger that work across any OS.

What about video calls?
