What is Pixel Price Promise?

Pixel Price Promise is Google Store’s price match policy, designed to help you shop with confidence. If you buy a Pixel phone and later find it for less at an eligible online retailer or on Google Store, you may be able to claim a partial refund, as long as it’s within the standard or holiday return period (15 calendar days).

To qualify, the lower price must be available on a live URL at the time of your request, and the product must match exactly. That means the same model, memory, colour, country and currency. Just include the direct link to the offer when you submit your request. If your claim is approved, we’ll refund the difference once your order ships.


Step 1: Buy the Pixel you want.

Shop directly on Google Store and purchase your new Pixel phone. Make sure to keep your order confirmation and use the same email address for any Pixel Price Promise claims.

Step 2: Spotted a better deal?

If you find the same model within 15 days of the date of purchase of the device, you may qualify for a partial refund. The offer must be current, in stock, and from an eligible retailer in the same country and currency. Submit the form with a public URL to the offer, screenshots or quotes aren’t accepted.

Step 3: Claim the difference.

Submit your request using the same email as your original order. We’ll review your claim and confirm if it qualifies. Once approved, we’ll refund you the difference when your Pixel order ships. Simple as that.

Yes, but you make your request within the standard or holiday return period. Customers can check their return eligibility from store.google.com/orderhistory page. After you start your return process, you have 14 days to complete the return.
Our Price Match policy has you covered! If you make a request and the price of your purchased item drops on the Google Store or a selected retail partner within the standard or holiday return period, we'll refund you the difference.
Most new and unopened Google products sold directly by the Google Store are eligible. However, some items are excluded from this offer, including refurbished products, pre-orders from third party retailers and carrier model devices. Check the full policy details here for a complete list.
Filling in your price match claim form is easy, all you’ll need to prepare is: your Google Store purchase order number, live link to the authorised third party offer and a brief description of your request. Click here to fill up your Price Match form.
We price match against these authorised Australian retailers: Bunnings, Harvery Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks and The Good Guys.
The lower price must be currently advertised on the authorised retailer's website for the identical product (same make, model, size, colour, etc.). The price comparison includes the item price, any applicable delivery charges, and any bundled discounts.
No, there's no limit on the number of price match requests you can submit within the eligible return period for your purchases. If you find a lower qualifying price, feel free to request a price match.
We match prices on current promotions and sales at authorised retailers, as long as they meet the other criteria of our policy. Please note, we're unable to price match against pricing errors that a retailer might make.
The item must be in stock and available for immediate purchase at the authorised retailer for the price match to be valid.

Third-party pre-order offers or third-party trade-in offers are excluded from Price Matching.


However, if you pre-order an item from the Google Store and its price drops after the pre-order period ends and becomes available for regular purchase at a participating retail partner within the standard return period, you will be eligible for a price match.


In the event where you pre-order an item from the Google Store and the pre-order item price drops on Google Store within the standard return period, you will also be eligible for a price match.

We'll take your discount into account when calculating the price difference for the price match.
If your price match request is approved, we'll refund the difference to the original payment method used for your Google Store purchase.
