FAQ

You can apply for Pixel Care+ within 60 days of buying your device. After this period, you can no longer add a Pixel Care+ plan but manufacturing defects will still be covered by the standard two-year manufacturer's warranty.

Pixel Care+ is not currently available for devices bought outside the Google Store*. However, you can add Pixel Care+ to eligible devices within 60 days of device purchase on the Google Store.

Yes - it's quick and easy at your nearest iSmash store. First, you need to
submit a claim
and select 'Repair' if available. Once your claim is approved, visit your nearest
iSmash store
. Please have your claim number and your device’s IMEI number (for phones) or serial number (for all other devices) to hand.
Phone screen repairs and battery replacements come with zero excess. However, for other claims such as device replacement due to damage, loss, or theft, an excess fee will apply. The specific amount varies, depending on the device model and the nature of the claim. Visit the

To make sure you have a fully functioning device as quickly as possible, we offer rapid replacement instead of repair for Google Pixel Watch, Fitbit and Pixel Tablet. Priority access to support from Pixel experts, unlimited claims for damage, and loss & theft protection remain available (for up to 3 claims per rolling 12-month period).

Pixel Care+ coverage applies only to your main device (Google Pixel phones, watches, or Fitbit). Original accessories included in the main device's box (such as charging cables and adapters) and accessories purchased separately are not covered.

Pixel Watch bands are not covered by Pixel Care+. In the event of a Pixel Watch replacement following a damage claim, Pixel Watch bands are not included as part of the replacement.

Google Pixel Buds are currently not covered by Pixel Care+. However, they are covered by the standard warranty against manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase.

The Pixel Care+ monthly payment plan automatically renews each month for up to 60 months. For the one-time payment plan, you pay 24 months' worth of fees in a single payment.
If you currently have Preferred Care, you'll be automatically moved to Pixel Care+ in the next few months with no impact to the premium or excess fees currently paid by you. You can continue using your current Preferred Care plan in the meantime. Pixel Care+ offers enhanced coverage and priority support to provide you with even greater peace of mind, protecting your Google Pixel and Fitbit devices.
Yes, you get a standard two-year manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects and malfunctions. You will be responsible for repair costs for damage, such as dropping or water damage.
Pixel Care+ is administered by Asurion Europe Limited who has partnered with Google Commerce Limited.
