Pop as many balloons as you can in 60 seconds. Build your score by popping regular balloons, earning +1 point for every pop. Keep your streak going to earn up to 3x points, and look out for linked balloons. Pop them together using two fingers to score a bonus.
But stay in the moment, as some balloons are there to distract you, costing points and breaking your streak. Look for special Gemini balloons that help clear the way and boost your score.
Keep tapping until the clock hits zero, and watch closely for a hidden Easter egg that could give your final score another boost.
To enter the contest, play and submit your score between 15 September, 9:00 am SGT and 20 September 2026, 11:59 pm SGT.
- Blue phase – The switch: Start simple. Pop regular blue balloons to find your rhythm, build your score, and get used to the timing.
- Red phase – Stay in the present moment: Take a moment to focus on what’s in front of you. Keep popping red balloons, dodge the distractions that can cost you points, and look out for Gemini balloons to help clear the way.
- Yellow phase – Connection: Bring coordination into play by popping regular yellow balloons and pairing sync balloons for bonus points.
- Green phase – Celebration: The final frenzy. Balloons appear faster and all the special balloons come back into play, so keep popping until time runs out.
Each balloon plays a different part in your score, so know what to pop, pair, and what distractions to dodge.
- Regular balloons (+1 point): Pop to earn 1 point. Regular balloons change colour to match the active phase (Blue, Red, Yellow, Green) and will disappear if you don’t pop them in time.
- Distraction balloons (-10 points): Avoid these balloons. If you tap one, you lose 10 points. Clear them with a Gemini balloon instead to earn +1 point for each one cleared.
- Gemini balloons (+1 point): Pop one to earn 1 point and clear all distraction balloons on screen. You’ll also earn +1 point for every distraction balloon cleared. Gemini balloons disappear if not activated within their available window.
- Sync balloons (+10 points per completed pair): Pop both matching balloons in time to earn 10 points. In duo mode, one appears on each player’s side, so work together to pop the pair. In solo mode, pop both balloons yourself to complete the pair. On mobile, tap both at the same time, and on desktop, click them back-to-back.
Take on Tap Party yourself in solo mode, or grab a friend and play together in duo mode on the same device. Split the screen and work together to pop sync balloons for +10 bonus points.
One score. Two chances to win. If your duo mode score qualifies for a reward, both registered players will each receive the corresponding prize. Both players need to register their details under the duo mode score to be eligible for a prize. If you’re both eligible Google Store newsletter subscribers, or opt in, you can also each receive 10% off your entire cart with the purchase of a
phone.
Tap Party prize codes cannot be combined with each other, but can be stacked with eligible Google Birthday offers. Only one Tap Party prize code can be used per transaction.
Played? Popped? Reward unlocked? Now save it for the main event. The Google Store Birthday promotion runs from 25 September to 7 October, with deals across Google-made devices. Your Tap Party discount can be stacked with eligible Birthday offers to make the celebration even sweeter. Just remember, only one Tap Party code can be used per transaction.
