Yes, Pixel Buds 2a pair with any Bluetooth® 4.0+ device, including Android, iOS, tablets and laptops. To get full access to features, you need:

  1. Google Account
  2. Google Assistant-enabled companion phone running Android 6.0 or newer

Yes, Pixel Buds 2a has pro-level Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal™ 1.5 to help block external noise for clear and uninterrupted sound. Or you can switch to Transparency Mode when you still want to hear the world around you while you listen.

Pixel Buds 2a are the first A-series buds with Active Noise Cancellation. They combine Silent Seal™ 1.5 and technology from the pro-level Active Noise Cancellation of our Pixel Buds Pro 2 to block out distractions so that you can stay immersed in the moment.

With the 11 mm dynamic speaker driver, you can always listen to clear, balanced, round sound, with opportunities to further personalise the levels of bass, treble and more with the five-band equaliser.

Pixel Buds 2a are also powered by the Tensor A1 chip, the same processor used on our Pixel Buds Pro 2.

Use the twist-to-adjust stabiliser to further secure your Pixel Buds 2a in your ears during activities. Twist the earbud upward or counter-clockwise to get a more snug fit, or adjust it the other direction for more relaxed, all-day comfort. To further optimise your fit, try the different ear tip sizes that are included in the box.

With Active Noise Cancellation off, up to 10 hours of listening time and up to 27 hours total listening time with the charging case.

First, ensure that Gemini is selected as the default digital assistant on the phone paired with your Pixel Buds.

To use Gemini, you can customise if the right or left earbud triggers Gemini in the Pixel Buds companion app or in settings. You can long-press on the customised earbud or simply you can say 'Hey Google'.

To use Gemini Live, you can long-press the customised earbud and say 'Let's talk live' or you can say 'Hey Google, let's talk live'.

Yes, Pixel Buds 2a can seamlessly connect and switch between multiple devices. Your Pixel Buds can automatically switch between watching a movie on your tablet to taking a call on your phone to listening to a running playlist on your watch.

Seamless audio switching moves you seamlessly between devices based on what you're doing, while multipoint connectivity lets you maintain connections to two devices at the same time.

Yes, you can easily locate where your Pixel Buds 2a are with Find Hub. Find Hub will pinpoint the precise location of your earbuds on a map. And when you get close, you can give your earbuds a ring to find them faster. The earbuds will ring even louder while in the charging case, making them easier to locate.

Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with extra small, small and large ear tips so that you can optimise your fit. Ears are unique, so your left ear may be different from your right ear. We recommend that you try at least two different sizes for each ear to find the best fit.

Gently insert your earbud into the ear. After inserting each earbud, use the twist-to-adjust stabiliser to slightly rotate the earbud back and forth until it comfortably stays in place when you move your head.

Dry your Pixel Buds 2a and case after exposure to any liquids. Liquid damage voids the warranty.
