Getting sharp night video on your phone in low light has always a big challenge, typically resulting in streaked clips, grainy faces, and jumbled shadows. That issue sometimes spoiled low-light photos, too, if there was any movement in the image or your hand while you took the shot.

Depending on the length of the video, within a few minutes or a few hours, the original preview version on your Google Pixel is automatically replaced with studio-quality video.
