For stunningly edited photos, just ask.
Creating stunning pictures on Pixel 10 phones is as easy as chatting with a friend.
Just tell Ask Photos what you want to do in words that feel natural for you – no complicated editing software nor advanced editing skills required.1 Remove messy clothes from the background, change the colour of a wall, or improve the composition of your photos with just a few words. Thanks to advanced Gemini models and multimodal capabilities, Ask Photos can make a custom AI-powered edit that gets you closer to that stunning photo in just seconds. And this exciting feature is coming to Pixel 10 series phones first.
After you take a photo, open the Google Photos app and tap the edit icon. Describe the edits in everyday language by typing or using your voice, and watch the changes appear – or disappear – before your eyes.
When you take photos on your Pixel 10 phone, you don’t have to worry about whether everything is perfect before you press the shutter. Maybe there’s a stray bit of clutter that you didn’t notice at the moment. The new conversational editing experience in Google Photos’ intuitive and easy to use photo editing suite is ready to help.
Group photos are fun and easy, too. Say you snap what you think was a perfect family photo, then notice a trash can in the background. Instead of getting everyone together for another photo, try typing “Get rid of the trash can on the floor.”
Photo editing is easier than ever on Pixel 10 phones. Now you can make edits in Google Photos using advanced Gemini models to unlock complex edits without needing to use time-consuming tools. Instead of fiddling with filters, erasers, or selection tools, you can ask Photos to make edits for you to get a stunning image.
Use the new editing experience on your next vacation to help your pictures better reflect how you remember the moments. With just a few quick requests, you can make a social post–worthy image of you and your partner on a beautiful sandy beach. For some added texture, ask Photos, “Please add clouds in the sky.” Now you’ve got the perfect snap of your getaway.

Select the ‘Edit’ option located at the bottom of the screen
You should see the ‘Help me edit’ floating dock at the bottom of the screen (if you don’t see it, the feature may not be available to you yet)
Get started by using the suggested edits by Google Photos.
Alternatively, you can manually type your preferred edits, or speak your request by tapping the microphone icon.
Think your photo needs edits, but not sure where to start? Simply describe the edits you want, like “Make this photo look better” or “Make this brighter and more colourful,” and Google Photos will do it for you. Even without specific instructions, Google Photos can jump in and do what needs to be done to make your pictures shine.
Maybe the paint colour in your newly renovated kitchen isn’t showing up in photos the way it does in person. Instead of trying to get the right balance of brightness and contrast by making manual adjustments and filters, ask Photos to “Make the kitchen walls pop.” It’ll contextually interpret what you’re trying to achieve and can make the right edits in seconds, matching the photo to the hue you love in real life.
With Pixel 10 phones, nothing stands between you and a fantastic photo. Pair Pixel’s
